I am so obsessed with success. I study hard, work hard, and play hard. I give back to the community. How about my parents and my family? It is time to give back to them, too - for the many years of support they selflessly provided.

So today, I decided to put off my Ted Talk's translation assignment. Instead, I translated the medical treatment instructions from English to Chinese for my mom, having them nicely printed off, and stapled.

Now I know it is not success per se that makes me happy.
